I have been trained by Lets Drive School of Motoring and Lawrence Collette School of Motoring who is a retired test examiner. Being relatively new to the business I have had the benefit of receiving the most up to date training available, so I am aware of and use the latest teaching techniques.

When you step into a car for the first time, you are likely to be nervous and apprehensive, but what you will find with me is an instructor who can understand how you are feeling and who will be patient and sympathetic of your individual needs.
I will tailor the tuition to your own unique progress, in other words you will be encouraged and allowed to develop at your own pace and not in line with some formula that is applied accross the board. Your progress and needs will be discussed with you all the way and I will be honest and upfront with you.
What I have to offer is a professional, no nonsense approach, to help you pass your theory test and drving test, all with a minimum of fuss and bother. All tuition will be carried out in a Nissan Micra.
I am flexible with regards to pick up and drop off points and we will make use of a driving assessment card which will provide a visual record for you as to how well you are doing.

Driver training at advanced level helps to improve young driver safety. Get in Gear is a road safety initiative, reducing casualty rates among young drivers. Driving instructors in Aylesbury], Buckingham, Amersham and High Wycombe, use defensive driving methods to train young drivers, aged 17 to 24-years, who in the last 12-months have passed their driving test.

Pass Plus has traditionally been the course of post test driver training, especially for young drivers, and Bucks County Council used to fund new drivers to take part in Pass Plus. However, driver training under Pass Plus was not effective in reducing casualty rates for young drivers in Bucks, and therefore required a better scheme of driver education.
Driver behaviour, attitudes and peer pressure are discussed in terms of how this affects performance. Driver education, talking of alcohol, drugs and anti-social behaviour, are also topics covered to help students become more responsible young drivers. Driver training on rural roads is one of the practical lessons of the course. Motorway driving tuition is another.
Get in Gear performs well over other driver training, such a Pass Plus, as with this course, advanced driver training has been used to develop the skills of the driving instructors.
Driving instructors, at a standard level, when they qualify as ADI’s, do not have any form of driver training. Therefore, advanced driver training is not something they will know anything about. You cannot hope for driving instructors, no matter how many years of experience they have, to perform to a higher level if all they have to draw from is their own basic driver training.
Pass Plus is not effective for that reason, but as Get in Gear driving instructors receive advanced driver training, and to recognised accredited standard, young drivers participating in this course will have developed their skills to a high level of safety and cheaper car insurance. -
